Zak Eye Clinic & Contact Lens Centre

Our shop is at 365 on the 4th Main, right at the 5th Cross in Vivek Nagar. It’s a corner of the neighborhood that stays fairly active. We have a lot of glass cases for the frames and lenses. We spend a lot of time wiping fingerprints off the glass. It’s one of those jobs that never ends. The clinic isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put things. We have the chair for eye checks in the back room where it's darker. Vivek Nagar has a lot of regular people walking by, and we’ve come to know many of them by name. Sometimes they just stop in to get their glasses straightened. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just put our sign out on 4th Main and people find us. The 5th Cross intersection can be a bit of a mess with scooters during rush hour. Inside, it’s mostly quiet except for the sound of the machines we use. We keep a supply of contact lenses in the drawers. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but for now, they’re fine. It’s just a regular place where we do our work every day. The carpet is a bit worn near the door. That's just how it is. We keep the display lights on until we lock up for the night.
