Young Designs

Young Designs is located at No.105 in Parvathi Plaza, which is right by Richmond Circle in Richmond Town. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of the city. We work out of this office and showroom, focusing on various design bits for interiors. It’s not a huge, cold corporate space. It’s actually kind of cozy once you get inside. We spend a lot of time looking at floor plans and picking out materials. The traffic at Richmond Circle can be a nightmare sometimes, but once you’re inside Parvathi Plaza, it’s a lot calmer. We’re just a small team of people who enjoy what we do. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just take one project at a time and try to get it right. People from the neighborhood often stop by to ask questions or see what we’re working on. We use simple English and avoid all that jargon you hear in the design world. If something looks good, it looks good. We try to be practical about budgets and what will actually work in a real home. It’s been our home base for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other folks in the building. It’s a good, honest way to make a living. There is always something new to learn in this business.
