Yogananda Architect

The office for Yogananda Architect is located at Cottonpet 88. It is a busy, historic part of the city, and being right in the middle of it at number 88 means there is always something going on outside the door. The street is narrow and full of life, which keeps things interesting. Inside, the space is a bit tight, but we have made it work for all our architectural needs. We have tall shelves packed with reference books and old rolls of blueprints that we have kept for years. The walls are a bit plain, but they are mostly covered with project timelines and rough sketches anyway. It is not the kind of place where you will find plush carpets or glass partitions. It is more about the drawing boards and the computer screens. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the details of various buildings. The noise from the street filters in, but after a while, you do not even notice it. It is a very practical, hands-on kind of office. We do not have a receptionist, so when the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to answer it. We like being in Cottonpet; it feels like we are right in the heart of things. Most of the day is spent measuring, calculating, and redrawing until things are just right. It is honest work in a busy neighborhood. We stay late sometimes when there is a deadline.
