Yellow Field

Yellow Field is located at Shop Number 2 in C V Raman Nagar. It’s a small place, really. If you walk too fast, you might even miss the door. We spend most of our time inside among the shelves. It’s just a basic shop where we keep things organized as much as we can. Some days it’s a bit of a mess when new deliveries arrive and we have to find space for everything. C V Raman Nagar is a nice area, a bit tucked away, which suits us fine. We don’t get a huge crowd of strangers, mostly just the people who live around here or work in the nearby offices. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put stuff. I’ve been working here for a while and I still struggle with the back door lock sometimes. It sticks when it rains. We don't really do anything flashy. It's just about opening up in the morning, checking what’s sold, and waiting for the afternoon sun to move off the front window. It gets really bright in here around 3 PM. We usually just have the radio playing low in the background. It’s a quiet life in Shop Number 2. We know the milkman and the guy who delivers the mail. It feels like a small village sometimes even though we are in the city. Just doing our thing. I usually eat my lunch standing up behind the counter.
