Yashas Ceramics

Yashas Ceramics is our small business located at 169/2 in Hosur Layout. We aren't in one of those big malls; we are just a local shop on a regular street. We have been here for a few years now, focusing on tiles and ceramic goods. It’s a pretty simple operation. We have the shop floor where we show what we have, and then a small yard area where the bulk of the stock is kept under some sheets. My brother and I run the place together. We usually spend our mornings checking what came in the night before and making sure the orders are ready for pickup. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy boxes around. We don't really have a fancy office. Most of the paperwork happens on a wooden clipboard while we’re standing in the warehouse. We like the neighborhood here in Hosur Layout. It’s quieted down a bit recently, which makes it easier for the delivery vans to pull in. We don't really do any marketing or social media stuff. We just have a sign outside and people know where we are. Sometimes neighbors just drop in to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on their home repairs. We don't mind. It’s part of being in a community. We just keep our heads down and try to make sure we don’t run out of the popular tile designs that people always ask for.
