Our Bangalore office is located at number 5, 2nd Cross in the Chandra Layout area. We are part of the first phase and second stage of the layout here in Vijayanagar. Wirtgen India Private Limited has been using this space to manage our local operations and handle things for the region. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, so getting parts in and out can be a bit of a challenge with the traffic on the main roads. The building we are in is practical and serves as a hub for our staff to coordinate their daily schedules. We deal with a lot of heavy machinery details and support for construction equipment. There is always a lot of paperwork to go through, and the phones don't seem to stop ringing some days. The office layout is pretty basic with just enough room for the desks and a small area for meetings. We don’t have any waterfalls in the lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get the job done and make sure the customers get what they need for their road projects. Most of us have worked in this area for a long time, so we know the best places to grab lunch nearby. It feels like a normal workplace where everyone just gets on with their tasks. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it gets a bit messy when we have a lot of shipments coming in at once.
