Wipro Ge Healthcare is based in the Summit Tower B at Brigade Metropolis in Mahadevapura. We’re on the 7th floor of that building. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic can be in Mahadevapura, so most of us spend a fair bit of time just getting here. The Metropolis complex is pretty big, with lots of people coming and going. Our office is a busy spot where we focus on healthcare equipment and services. It’s a mix of technical talk and logistics. We have engineers and office staff all working in the same area. It’s not always the quietest place, especially when we’re testing something or having a team meeting in the open area. We’ve got some big windows, but mostly we’re focused on our screens. There’s a cafeteria in the complex where we usually end up for lunch, which is nice because it’s a break from the office air. We don't go in for much corporate fluff. We just have a job to do, helping keep healthcare systems running, and we do it. Some days are stressful when there’s a technical issue to solve, but we have a good group of people who know their stuff. It’s a modern building, but we’re just regular people trying to get through the work day and beat the traffic home.
