We are over in Jayanagar 4th T Block, right on the 24th Main Road. If you know where Mamatha Hospital is, we are just opposite that. It’s a nice part of the city, fairly quiet compared to the main hubs. The clinic is set up to handle hearing tests and speech therapy. We’ve got a few rooms for the testing and a small area where you can look at the different hearing aid models. It’s not a very big space, but we’ve made it comfortable. Some of our patients are quite young, kids who need help with their speech, and others are older folks who can't hear as well as they used to. We spend a lot of time just talking to people and trying to figure out what works for them. The 39th Cross intersection is usually our reference point. Parking can be a bit of a gamble on the street, but people usually find a spot nearby. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed because some people get nervous about these things. It’s a straightforward clinic. We show you how the devices work and how to change the batteries. It’s just about helping people communicate a bit better in their daily lives. We’ve been in this building for some years now. The walls have some posters about how hearing works. We try to be patient with everyone because we know it’s hard when you can’t hear well.
