If you go behind the Someshawara Temple in Marathahalli, you’ll find us at No.10 on CT Street. Ways 2 Guide has been tucked away here on 2nd Cross for a while. It’s a bit of a maze in these backstreets, but we like it because it’s quieter than the main road. Our office is just a simple room where we help people figure out their next steps. We focus on guiding people through different processes, whether it’s for work or school. It’s not a big corporate setup. Usually, there’s just a couple of us here, sitting at our desks and going through papers. We get a lot of people who find us by word of mouth because the temple is such a well-known landmark. The building we’re in is an older one, so it has its quirks. Sometimes it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have some fans going. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We try to be helpful and give clear answers to the questions people bring us. Most of the time, it’s just about explaining how things work in plain English. We’ve lived in Bangalore long enough to know how confusing things can be, so we just try to make it a bit simpler for whoever walks through the door. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the Marathahalli community.
