V.S.K. Extrusion (Pvt) Ltd

A-47 in the Peenya II Stage industrial area is where you will find V.S.K. Extrusion (Pvt) Ltd. If you know Bangalore, you know Peenya is a maze of sheds and heavy trucks. Our spot is right in the thick of it. We do extrusion work here, which mostly means a lot of heat and the sound of metal moving through dies. It’s loud. You can’t really have a quiet conversation on the floor when the main line is running. Most of us have gotten used to shouting over the noise. We started out small and stayed at A-47 because it suits what we do. The office is just a small room off to the side with a couple of desks piled with paperwork and old blueprints. We don’t have fancy carpets or a receptionist. Usually, one of the guys from the floor will come out if someone knocks. It’s a messy business, working with metal like this. There’s always oil on the floor and scraps of aluminum or whatever we’re running that day. We try to keep things organized, but in a place this busy, it’s a constant battle. The tea stall down the road is where we usually end up during the break. It’s just a regular bunch of people trying to make parts that fit right and get delivered on time. That’s pretty much the whole story of how things go around here.
