Vora Tyre Company

Vora Tyre Company is right at 115 Lalbagh West Fort Road. It is an old part of the city, and our shop has been sitting on this road for quite a while. Being on West Fort Road means there is a constant stream of traffic passing by our front door. You can always hear the honking of cars and the rumble of buses going toward the fort. The shop itself is filled from floor to ceiling with tyres of all different sizes and brands. It smells strongly of new rubber inside, which is something we do not even notice anymore after all these years. There is a lot of black dust around because of the nature of the work, so we are always cleaning up the counters. We have a small area in the front where customers can stand while we pull out what they need from the stacks. It is not a shiny showroom with bright lights or fancy displays. Most of the space is taken up by the stock and the heavy tools we use. Sometimes the pavement outside gets a bit crowded when we are moving things around, but the neighbors are used to it. We do not have a website or any fancy brochures to give out. People just know we are here at number 115 because they see the stacks of tyres as they drive past. It is a basic, hard-working shop that deals with the heat and the noise of the main road every single day.
