Our office for Vishwabharathi Infrastructures Pvt Ltd is down in Dodda Mavalli on Govindappa Road. The building number is 31/49. Even though the name sounds a bit official, we are just a normal group of people working on infrastructure projects. We handle things like roads, pipes, and foundations. The office is right on a busy street, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. Inside, we have maps pinned to the walls and some desks that have seen better days. We do not spend much on making the place look polished because we would rather be out where the work is happening. Most of our day involves talking to suppliers and making sure the gravel and steel arrive when they are supposed to. It can be quite a headache when the trucks are late. We have a small staff who looks after the accounts and the site supervisors who are always on their phones. We have lived and worked in this part of the city for a long time. Mavalli is a crowded place, but it is home for us. We do not have any glossy brochures or sales pitches. If someone needs a road or a big drain built, they come and talk to us at the office. We just take things one project at a time and try to get the job done right without making a big fuss about it.
