Virtuosos Palette Art School

We've been at this spot in Jayanagar for a while now, right near Shalini Hotel. Most people find us by looking for the 10th Main corner. It’s a quiet space where we keep a bunch of brushes and paints ready for whoever walks in. It isn't a fancy gallery or anything like that. We mostly just sit around the tables in 5th Block and work on whatever project is happening that day. Some days it’s kids making a mess with watercolours and other days it’s older folks trying to get a portrait right. We started Virtuosos Palette Art School because we liked drawing and wanted a place to do it. The rooms aren't huge, but there’s enough light coming in from the 38th Cross side. We don't have a big front desk or formal uniforms. If you come by, you’ll probably see someone cleaning up charcoal dust or stacking canvases against the wall. It’s just how we run things here. There's usually tea going if the kettle is working. We don't do big speeches about art history, we just get to the drawing part. Jayanagar is a busy area but once you step inside our 10th Main door, it gets a bit more relaxed. We keep the supplies stocked up and try to make sure everyone has a stool to sit on. That’s pretty much the whole story of this place. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just art.
