Viren Garment Processors. We operate out of B 2 on Kanakapura Road in Shahibaug. This place is usually full of fabric and the smell of industrial laundry. We handle the processing part of making clothes, which means a lot of washing, drying, and treating the materials before they go out to the shops. It is a bit noisy because of the big machines we use. The floors are often wet and there is steam in the air during the busy hours. We have got a crew of people who really know how to handle different types of cloth. If you come by Kanakapura Road, you can't miss the building. We have been in Shahibaug for some time now and most of the locals know the sound of our delivery trucks. It is manual work for the most part. We check the garments one by one to make sure everything looks right after the processing is done. Sometimes the heat in the back gets a bit much, especially in the summer months. But we have our fans going and we take turns on the harder jobs. It is not a glamorous business, just a lot of hard work with textiles. We take the raw stuff and make it ready for the people who eventually buy the clothes. That's just what we do here every day from morning until late evening in our corner of Shahibaug.
