Vinyasa Architects

Our office, Vinyasa Architects, is located on the 7th floor of Brigade Towers. That’s right on Brigade Road, which is one of the busiest spots in all of Bangalore. Being at No. 701 gives us a bit of a view of the city, but inside, it’s just a normal workspace. We spend our days at drafting tables and computers, working on various building plans. It’s a mix of creative work and very boring technical stuff like checking measurements and local building codes. We are a small team and we’ve been in this building for a while. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy PR person. We just rely on the work we do. People come in with an idea of what they want their house or office to look like, and we try to put that on paper. It involves a lot of back and forth, and sometimes we don’t agree on things right away, but we work through it. Brigade Road is always loud and full of people, but up on the 7th floor, it’s a bit more peaceful so we can focus. We don’t make big promises or use corporate speak. We just draw up the plans and help get things built. It’s practical work that requires a lot of attention to detail. We just show up, do our drawings, and go home like anyone else. It's a simple life here in the middle of the city.
