Vinutha Chemicals

Down in Byatarayanapura 11, things stay pretty busy for us. We deal with all sorts of chemicals, so there is always that distinct smell in the air when you walk into the building. It’s not a place for everyone, but for us, it’s just where we spend our days. We have barrels stacked up and bags of powders that need to be moved around carefully. It’s mostly industrial stuff, nothing too fancy. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuffs from the pallets being dragged across. We try to keep everything organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the whole place looks a bit cluttered for a few days. Being in Byatarayanapura means we are close to a lot of other businesses, so people are always popping in and out. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s usually just one of us handling the orders and making sure the right stuff goes to the right person. Vinutha Chemicals is just a straightforward operation. We focus on the inventory and making sure we don't run out of the basics that our regulars need. The weather gets humid, and sometimes the labels on the jugs start to peel, which is a bit of a pain. We just re-label them and keep going. It’s steady work, and we like being part of the local scene here in this part of town.
