Vimos Technocrats Pvt Ltd runs out of an apartment building, specifically 203 in SLV Sannidhi Apts. It’s on 36th Cross in the 5th Block of HBR Layout. It’s a residential area, so it feels a lot different than a typical office block. We like it because it’s a bit quieter, though you still get the usual sounds of a neighborhood, like kids playing or someone washing their car. The office is basically a converted living space. We have desks where the sofa used to be and the kitchen is mostly for making endless rounds of tea. It’s a bit informal. You might find us working in slippers. Because we’re on the 19th Main, we’re easy enough to find, but we don't have a big sign out front. Most of our work is technical, so we spend hours staring at data and diagrams on our monitors. The balcony is our favorite spot for breaks. It gives us a chance to step away from the screens for a minute. We have a lot of books on engineering and technical standards shoved into the cupboards. It’s a bit crowded with all the hardware and cables we have running around, but we know where everything is. We don't have a receptionist, so if the doorbell rings, whoever is closest just goes to answer it. It’s a simple way to work, and it suits us just fine for what we do every day.
