We’ve been running Vigirom Chemicals Pvt Ltd from this spot on HD Devegowda Road for a while now. It’s right there in the Chinmaya Apartment building, specifically in the Basavanagudi Lingappa Block. Thimmaih Garden is close by, so there’s some greenery around, though we spend most of our time inside handling the chemical side of things. It is not a huge corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we get the work done. People often ask where we are, and we just tell them to look for the Lingappa Block. Dealing with chemicals means we have to stay organized, and this location works for us. It’s a busy enough area, but it feels like a neighborhood. We handle various chemical supplies and talk to different vendors every day. Some days are slow, others are just packed with paperwork and phone calls. We don’t have fancy brochures to hand out. We just talk to the people who need our stuff and figure out how to get it to them. The stairs in the building can be a bit much if you’re carrying things, but you get used to it. Most of the staff has been here long enough that we know the regular delivery guys by name. It’s just how we do things here in Bangalore. We don’t try to be something we’re not. It is just a regular business day at the office.
