Veson Architect

The office for Veson Architect is over in Padmanabha Nagar Extension, specifically at 961/21. It is in the Rajaji Nagar and Hanumagirinagar area, which is a nice part of town to work in. We have been at this spot for some time now. The building is easy enough to spot once you get onto the right street. Inside, it is mostly just what you would expect from an architect’s space—lots of drafting tables, computers, and stacks of site plans. The morning sun hits the front windows around nine, and it stays bright until the late afternoon. We keep a pot of coffee going most of the day, though it is usually cold by the time anyone remembers to drink it. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to focus on complicated drawings or structural details. We do not really do much in the way of decorating the place; the walls are mostly covered in pinned-up sketches and calendar pages. There is a bit of a squeak in the front door that we have not gotten around to fixing yet. Most people who come to see us are locals from the extension or nearby areas. We just sit around the main table and go over what needs doing. It is a straightforward way of working. No big corporate meetings, just us figuring out how to make things fit on a plot of land for the project at hand. It works for us and keeps the overhead low.
