We've been here on Perumal Kovil Street for a while now. It's a quiet part of Sikkathambur and mostly we focus on making attachments and parts for different types of equipment. It's not a fancy office or anything, just a place where the work gets done every day. We started out small and stayed that way, which helps us keep track of what's happening on the shop floor. Most of our guys are from around here in Trichirapalli. They know the machines inside and out. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons but the shed stays cool enough to keep working. Sometimes people find it hard to locate us because the street signs aren't great, but once you're here, you'll see we just keep busy with the metalwork. We don't spend much time on the computer unless it's for orders. It’s mostly about the physical stuff. If someone needs a specific part for their loader, they usually just give us a call or drop by. The rain sometimes leaks a tiny bit near the back door when it’s heavy, but we just move the crates out of the way. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website with lots of photos. Usually, if someone needs something, they’ve heard about us from a neighbor or another shop. We just keep the welding torches ready and the scrap metal sorted. It's a regular workplace where people show up, do their job, and go home to their families.
