Our office is tucked away on the 4th Cross in New Byappanahalli, Bangalore. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but once you find number 27, you’ve made it. It’s a tech-focused spot, so there are always wires and monitors everywhere you look. We aren't one of those massive IT parks with glass walls and cafes; we are more of a ground-level operation. The air conditioning is a bit loud and sometimes the power fluctuates, but that's just Bangalore for you. We spend most of our time typing away or on calls trying to sort out technical issues. It’s a quiet street for the most part, though you can hear the train in the distance sometimes. The team is small, and we usually just wear casual clothes and get on with the day’s tasks. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone focusing hard on a screen. We deal with global stuff, but our day-to-day life is very local. We go out for filter coffee at the corner shop when we need a break. It's a practical way to work. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing; we just like to fix things and make sure the systems are running like they should. It’s been our home base for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building and the neighborhood.
