You can find us at the 39/2 T Dasarahalli location, right at the Ramdev Nagar Char Rasta. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise and smoke from the passing trucks. We spend our days surrounded by rubber and the smell of grease. It’s a hard job, but someone has to do it. We handle all kinds of tires, whether it’s for a small scooter or a bigger vehicle. My clothes are usually covered in black marks by noon. We have a small machine for balancing and some hand tools that have seen better days. People stop by when they have a flat or when they notice their tread is getting thin. We don't have a waiting lounge or anything like that; people usually just stand around or sit on a plastic chair while we work. The sun beats down on the shop in the afternoon, which makes the work even sweatier. We’ve been at this spot for years, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit. It’s a local shop, and we know many of the drivers who pass through daily. We don't do any fancy advertising. People just know we are here at the crossroad. We just check the air, patch the leaks, and send people on their way. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. We just keep piling up the old tires in the back.
