Velankani Infrastructure

We have our office set up in Kaggadasapura, over in the Sreeja Residency building, Block B, unit B-4. It’s on 26th Cross in the Balaji Layout area of Bangalore. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s mostly residential with some shops mixed in. It’s a bit of a maze with all the crosses and layouts, but we like it here. It feels more like a community than a business park. We work on infrastructure projects, so there is always a lot of chatter about materials and deadlines. The office isn't very large. It’s mostly desks pushed together and a corner where we keep the tea kettle and some snacks. We spend a lot of time looking at plans and talking to contractors on the phone. It gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that is just how we operate. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors know us. Sometimes the Bangalore traffic makes it a nightmare to get to sites on the other side of town, so we try to plan our days carefully. We aren't some giant corporation with a thousand layers of management. It’s just us, trying to get the jobs done and keeping things moving. We value being practical and getting the small details right. Most evenings we are just packing up and hoping the rain doesn't start before we get home. It’s just a normal workplace.
