Vector Drafting

Vector Drafting is located right in the middle of BTM Layout 2nd Stage. If you know the area, you know that 29th Main can get pretty crowded with traffic, but our spot on 21st Cross is a bit tucked away at 49/22. We spend most of our day sitting in front of monitors doing technical drawings. It is a lot of lines and measurements that have to be exactly right. We don't do much of the fancy artistic stuff; it is mostly straightforward drafting for contractors and engineers who need their plans digitized or cleaned up. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some sturdy chairs, a couple of powerful computers, and the usual clutter of coffee mugs and half-eaten snacks. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. Most of the people who come to see us are locals from around BTM or folks working on projects nearby in South Bangalore. We have been in this spot for a while, and we like the rhythm of the neighborhood. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick lunch, which is good because we often work through the middle of the day to finish up a set of drawings. It is steady work, and we just keep our heads down and get it done. No one here wears a suit, and we mostly talk about CAD shortcuts and plotters. It’s not a fancy firm, just a practical shop.
