Vatsala Industries

You’ll find Vatsala Industries at 39/1, right on 1st Main and 2nd Cross in Sarvabouma Nagar. We are quite close to the Indian Institute of Technology, which means there are always students and staff moving around nearby. Our shop is mostly filled with machinery and tools for our manufacturing work. It gets pretty noisy when we have everything running, but the neighbors are mostly used to it by now. We’ve been at this Sarvabouma Nagar location for quite a few years. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots here and there, which is pretty standard for an industrial space. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to answer phones all day. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us has to wipe our hands and go grab it. We spend our time making parts and checking that everything fits together the way it should. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole day fixing it instead of producing anything. It can be frustrating but that is part of the trade. We like being in this part of town. It feels like a productive place to be. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making things and keeping the business going one day at a time. It's a lot of manual work and we usually leave at the end of the day feeling pretty tired from the floor.
