Vathsalya Women & Child Care Centre

We are located in Basaveshwara Nagar, 3rd Stage, 4th Block, right next to the India Post office. Being beside the post office is helpful because everyone knows where that is. At Vathsalya Women & Child Care Centre, our days are usually quite loud. There are often babies crying or toddlers running around the waiting room. We focus on looking after mothers and their kids. It involves a lot of vaccinations, growth checks, and prenatal visits. The walls have some posters about child health, and we try to keep some toys around to keep the little ones busy. The staff is mostly used to the chaos that comes with a pediatric and maternity center. We spend time answering a lot of questions from worried parents. It’s not a quiet office environment, that’s for sure. We have rooms for consultations and basic checkups. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see a lot of families from the nearby blocks. We try to keep the place as clean as possible, though with kids coming in and out, it’s a constant job. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t; we’re just a local clinic trying to help families stay healthy. Every day brings something different, whether it’s a new baby or just a stubborn cold.
