You can find us on the 4th floor of Shalimar Galaxy in Seshadripuram. It’s an area with a lot of movement, and we’ve been part of it for a good bit now. Building things is what we know. We spend a lot of time out at construction sites, checking on progress and making sure the materials arrived on time. The office here at SM-2 is mostly for handling the paperwork and meeting with people who want to start a project. It’s not always easy work; there are always delays with rain or someone not showing up. We deal with a lot of different contractors and suppliers every day. Our desks are usually a mess of site photos and legal documents. We try to keep things moving so people can actually move into their homes when they expected to. It’s a lot of responsibility to make sure a structure is solid and everything is where it should be. We’ve had to learn how to deal with all the city rules and permits, which is a headache. Sometimes we are still answering emails late at night because things go wrong on a site. It’s not a nine-to-five kind of life. We’ve built a few places around here that we are proud of, even if the process was stressful. We just keep at it, one brick at a time, until the job is done.
