Vasant Printing Works

Vasant Printing Works is tucked into 3/3 Vyasaraja Building on Govindappa Road. We are right in Gandhi Bazaar, near Halwai Nagar. The smell of ink and paper is the first thing you notice when you walk in. We’ve been printing stuff for the local community for a long time now. Wedding cards, pamphlets, and office forms keep our machines running most days. The old presses make a lot of noise but they get the job done right. Sometimes the paper jams or the colors take a bit of extra tweaking to get right. We don't mind the extra effort to make it look decent. Gandhi Bazaar is always full of life and people shopping for flowers or food. Our shop is a small part of that neighborhood feel. We have stacks of paper everywhere and the floor is usually covered in offcuts. We like the feeling of finished stacks ready for pickup. It’s a family-style environment here. We know our regular customers by name and they know us. We don’t do fancy marketing or have a big sign. People find us because their parents used us or they saw our shop while walking to the market. We just focus on getting the lines straight and the ink dark enough to read. If there's a mistake, we just fix it. That's just how we work. Basavanagudi is a great place to be located. There's always someone coming in with a new project or just to chat while their order is being packed up for them to take home.
