Vamsi Distributors

Vamsi Distributors is tucked away in the Kumbarpet area, specifically at 36/37 on Kumbarpet Main Road. We are inside Gulkan Mansion, which is one of those buildings that always feels like there is something happening. If you’ve ever been to Kumbarpet, you know the streets are narrow and always packed with people moving carts and boxes. We spend a huge part of our day just managing the crates that come in and out. It’s a distribution point, so it’s less about a fancy display and more about making sure the right boxes get to the right people. Our workspace is pretty crowded with stacks of inventory reaching up toward the ceiling. Sometimes it feels like we are playing a game of Tetris just to find a specific item at the back of the room. The air in the mansion can get a bit stuffy, so we usually have the fans going full blast. We work with a lot of local shopkeepers who come by to pick up their supplies. There is a lot of shouting back and forth to coordinate the loading because space is so tight on the street outside. We don’t have much time for sitting around. Usually, we are just checking lists and making sure the counts are right. It’s a noisy, busy place to work, but we like being right in the middle of the market action and the daily rush.
