If you head down to No. 2/13 1st Stage 1st Phase Peenya Indl. Area, you’ll find us at Vacuum Techniques Pvt Ltd. It’s a gritty part of the city, but it’s where all the real work happens. We deal with pumps and vacuum seals mostly. The floors are concrete and always have a few oil spots no matter how much we scrub. It’s just the nature of the machines we work on. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need to talk much to get the job done. We know which wrenches are missing and which drawer has the spare gaskets. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually grab a quick break mid-morning. It’s nice to get out of the shop air for ten minutes. We have a lot of heavy metal parts moving in and out on wooden pallets. The forklift is old but it still lifts what it needs to. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, so we keep a bucket there during the monsoon. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Peenya. We just want to get the repairs done so the customers can get back to their own business. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The phone rings a lot with people asking for technical advice on their old vacuum systems. We just answer and do our best to help.
