We are based at 70-71 in the III Phase of the Peenya Industrial Area in Bengaluru. If you’ve ever been to Peenya, you know it’s a maze of small and large factories. Our building, Vacuum Furnace Manufacturers, is where we put together these big heating machines. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and technical stuff. The traffic in this part of Bengaluru is some of the worst you’ll see, so getting parts delivered is always a headache. We spend most of our time on the shop floor where the air smells like ozone and hot metal. It gets very warm when we are testing the furnaces. We aren't a big company with fancy uniforms. Most of us have been working with metal for a long time. We just follow the blueprints and make sure the welds are solid. The phone rings a lot with people asking about parts or maintenance. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a build before the weekend. There isn’t much to the story other than we’ve been in this shed for a long time doing the same kind of work. We know the neighbors and we know where to get the best coffee on the corner. It’s just a regular industrial job where we build things that can handle a lot of heat. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
