We have been operating out of 75 Hulkul Complex for a long time now. Most people around here recognize the building because it sits right across from Urvashi Theatre on Lalbagh Road. It is a very busy part of the city and the traffic outside is almost always a nightmare, especially when there is a new movie release. Our office is just a regular place where we get through the daily tasks. We don’t have any fancy decorations or modern furniture. It is just some desks, old chairs, and computers that have seen better days. The lift in the complex can be quite slow, so we usually just take the stairs to save time. You can hear the constant honking from the street all day, but you eventually get used to the noise. Lunch usually means grabbing a quick bite from the street vendors nearby or eating a tiffin brought from home. We do not spend time on big meetings with fancy presentations. It is mostly just us talking about what needs to be done and making sure the work moves along. Lalbagh Road has seen many shops come and go, but we have stayed in our little spot. We know the security guards and the folks in the other offices. It is a decent place to spend the day. We just focus on the tasks at hand and head home once the day is over. Nothing too complicated about it.
