Our office is on the second floor of 22, S.N. Lane here in Bangalore. We are Upkar Mining Pvt Ltd. It’s an older part of the city, and the lane can be a bit narrow and crowded with bikes and people walking. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. Our work isn't the most exciting thing to talk about for most people, but it keeps us busy. We handle a lot of the administrative side of mining operations. This means lots of ledgers, permits, and coordination with people out in the field. The office is a bit cramped with all the files we have to keep, but it works for us. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby. You just come up to the second floor and there we are. We have a small team, and we’ve all worked together for years, so we know how to stay out of each other's way. The noise from the street downstairs comes up through the windows, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a workout, especially on a Monday morning or after a long day. We just focus on getting the reports done and making sure the numbers match up. It's just plain, honest work that needs to be done every day. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We're just a mining company office in a busy Bangalore lane, doing our work every single afternoon.
