Our office is on Janes School Road in the Chikka Devasandra area of K.R. Puram. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but we’ve been here in Bangalore for a while. The building is called Bhavani Nilaya. It’s a simple place, nothing like the high-tech offices you see in other parts of the city. We focus on shipping, which means our desks are usually buried under customs forms and bills of lading. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, and sometimes we make mistakes and have to fix them. That’s just being human. We don’t have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just talk to our customers like regular people. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on the complicated shipping routes. We spend our days coordinating with ports and warehouses. It’s a lot of coordination and waiting for things to arrive. Sometimes the rain in Bangalore slows everything down, and we just have to wait it out. Our team is small and we’ve known each other for a long time. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the shipping done right for the people who come to us. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. No frills, just shipping.
