We are based out of 18A/19 in the Doddenekundi Industrial Area, near the Mahadevapura Post. It’s a large plot because we need the space for all the telecom equipment we handle. You’ll see plenty of wires and big crates around the yard. United Telecoms Ltd. has been around this part of Bangalore for a good number of years. It’s a busy place with lots of technicians moving in and out all day. The industrial area is a bit rough around the edges, but it’s where all the real work happens. We aren't tucked away in some shiny IT park. We’re right here in the thick of it. Our daily routine involves a lot of testing and sorting through hardware. The office part is just a few desks where we keep the paperwork straight. Mostly, we are out in the back or on-site somewhere else. It gets pretty hot under the tin roofs in the summer, but we’re used to it. The local tea stall nearby is where most of us take our breaks. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see a truck loading up or someone fixing a cable. It's just how we operate. We provide the gear that keeps the phones and internet running for others. It’s a lot of manual work and technical stuff mixed together. We've been at this for a long time.
