We are tucked away on the ground floor of the Maruthi Block, which is situated on 17Th Main Extension right behind Radhakrishna High School in Srinagar. It is a fairly quiet spot for the most part, though we can hear the school kids during their breaks, which is actually a nice change of pace from the usual office silence. The address is 53-56-19 and we have been in this location for a good number of years now. The office space itself is not very large, but it is enough for what we need to do. We have a few computers set up and a central table that usually ends up being buried under blueprints or technical diagrams. The lighting in here could probably be better, and the walls are quite plain, but we are much more interested in the work we are doing than how the room looks. We handle a lot of technical tasks here, mostly focusing on small details that a lot of other people might overlook. Since we are a small team, everyone ends up doing a little bit of everything, whether it is answering the door or troubleshooting a software problem. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just have to sit and wait for a bit, but that is just part of daily life here. We like being in a regular neighborhood rather than a big office park. There is a tea shop nearby where we usually go.
