United Packers & Movers

United Packers & Movers is tucked away in the Modi Masjid Complex. We are at No. 5, right across from where the Gold Star Hotel used to be in Shivaji Nagar. It’s on Chinnaswamy Mudaliar Road, just off Queens Road, so it can get pretty crowded around here. We deal with packing up houses and moving people’s things from one place to another. It involves a lot of bubble wrap, tape, and cardboard boxes. The office in the complex is small, but we aren't in there much anyway. Most of the time, we are out at someone’s house or loading a truck on the street. It’s hard work, especially when there are stairs involved or the elevators are too small. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while. Everyone knows the Modi Masjid area is busy, so we have to start early to beat the traffic. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually just find us by word of mouth or see our name on the side of a truck. Sometimes we run out of tape or the truck gets a flat, but we just fix it and keep going. We handle things as carefully as we can, given how bumpy the roads are sometimes. It’s a living, and it keeps the crew busy. We just focus on getting the boxes packed and the truck moved.
