Our office is tucked away on the 2nd Cross in Annayappa Block. It’s a bit of a residential area in Kumara Park West, so it’s not as noisy as the main roads. We are at Door Number 11. Most people who work here live nearby or take the bus to get in. We deal with communication equipment and stuff like that. It’s a private company, but it feels more like a small family shop most days. The building has been here for years and shows its age a little. We spend a lot of time testing cables and checking devices. There’s a lot of wiring around the desks. It gets messy sometimes when we have many projects going on at once. We usually have tea together in the afternoons to take a break. It’s a simple setup. Nothing fancy like the big tech parks you see in other parts of the city. We just have our desks, some computers, and a lot of gear stacked up. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a bit muddy, but it's a nice walk from the bus stop. We’ve known the people on this block for a long time. They know where we are if they need help with a phone line or a connection issue. We don't do much advertising. People just find us through word of mouth or by walking past the door. It’s a steady kind of work. We keep the doors open and just focus on the tasks we have for the day.
