Unisol Infra Services

Our office is tucked away in F206 over at Citra Township on Darga Road. Being in Pallavaram means we deal with the typical Chennai heat and the sounds of the city all day long. Unisol Infra Services isn't a massive corporate operation with hundreds of people in suits. It is just a handful of us working out of this flat. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites, but this is where we come back to get the paperwork sorted. The township is a decent place to work because it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main highway. We have our computers set up and a few chairs for when people stop by to discuss infrastructure projects. There’s always a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Mostly it's just calendars and some maps of the local area. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a job needs doing, we figure out how to do it without making a big fuss. It’s a small space but it works for what we need. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we just take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We’ve been in Chennai for a long time and we like being part of the local scene here.
