Unilever India

This specific branch of Unilever India is the Hindustan Lever Research facility over at 64, Whitefield Main Road. It’s not like the big corporate offices you see in the city center. This place is more about lab coats and testing things out. We have a lot of people here who spend their whole day looking at samples or running experiments. Whitefield has changed a lot since we first set up here. It used to be much quieter, but now the traffic on the main road is a nightmare almost every single day. Even so, once you get inside the gates, it’s a different world. It’s fairly quiet, and everyone is focused on their own little project. We don’t really deal with the public directly at this location. It’s mostly scientists and support staff trying to figure out how to make products better or safer. The building itself is older than some of the new IT parks nearby, but it serves its purpose. We have a small canteen where everyone catches up on the latest gossip or complains about the commute. It is just a regular workplace where people are trying to do their jobs well. There is no flashy advertising here, just a lot of data and researchers doing their thing. We’ve been part of the Whitefield landscape for a long time, watching the malls go up while we stay busy in the lab.
