Umiya Synthetics

We are located out in the Narol area, specifically near Ranipur Patia on Shahwadi Road. If you go past the Talawadi, you'll find us soon enough. It’s an industrial spot, so don’t expect anything too pretty. We deal with synthetics and materials all day long. The air is often filled with the smell of the nearby factories, and the roads are always full of big trucks carrying goods. Our space is functional. We have the machines, the rolls of fabric, and a small area where we do the office work. It gets hot during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get through the orders. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the synthetic materials and making sure things are packed up for transport. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we’re just making sure the supplies are ready when they need to be. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so it’s a community of warehouses and small units. We’ve been here in Shahwadi for a while now, and we know the local transporters well. It’s practical work for practical people. We don't have a marketing team or anything. If you call, one of us will pick up the phone, probably while we’re in the middle of counting stock. It’s a busy place, and we just keep our heads down and do the job. It’s dusty and loud but it’s our daily life and we are used to it.
