Udaya Shankar & Company

Udaya Shankar & Company is over at number 40 on K R Road in the Kumbarpet area. We are quite close to Anivilas Hospital, so there are always people and ambulances moving around nearby. It’s a very active part of the city. Our office is a straightforward place. We don’t have any fancy furniture or modern gadgets; just some solid tables and plenty of shelves for all the files we accumulate. The building is older, and you can feel the history of the neighborhood when you walk through the doors. We usually start our day by sorting through the mail and checking what needs immediate attention. It’s a lot of manual work, typing things out and filing them away in the right folders. The noise from K R Road can be quite something during the peak hours, but we’ve learned to talk over it. Sometimes the tea man comes by with a tray, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have a big corporate structure here. It’s just a few of us who know how things are supposed to run. We’ve been in Kumbarpet for a long time and seen many businesses come and go, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s a practical location for what we do, and we’re happy to just keep going with our daily routine as usual.
