Udaya Education Society

We are over at No.14 in Vijaynagar. The street is 18th Cross, just off 18th Main. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood for the most part, though being near the police station means there’s always someone around. Our building is a simple one. We run the Udaya Education Society from here. It’s mostly about managing school activities and helping out with educational needs in the area. We aren't a big organization with lots of branches. We just stay here in Vijaynagar and do our thing. The office has a few old wooden desks and some filing cabinets that have been there forever. Sometimes the local kids come by, or parents stop in to ask about classes or paperwork. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there. It’s a very local feel. We have been part of this community for a long time. The trees on the street provide some shade when it gets really sunny. Most days are just spent doing paperwork, answering the phone, and making sure the educational programs are moving along. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We like being in this part of town because it feels like home. Everyone knows where the 18th Cross is. We just keep the doors open and get through the daily tasks one by one. It's just a regular office for local education.
