Tyre Of India has been sitting here at 27 Vanivilas Road for quite a while now. We deal with tyres and everything that comes with that. Being on Vanivilas Road means we see a lot of cars and trucks passing by every single day. It’s a busy street, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. Our shop isn't anything too fancy to look at. We have stacks of tyres here and there, and the floor usually has some grease on it, but that’s part of the job. People know us by the name Tyre Of India. We try to keep things simple. If someone stops by, we talk to them and see what they need. It’s not like those big corporate showrooms you see in the city. We’re just local folks working here. The tea stall down the road brings us chai sometimes when things get slow. Number 27 is easy to find if you know where you’re going on Vanivilas Road. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or marketing stuff. We’d rather just handle the work in front of us. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. It’s a honest living and we’re glad to be part of this neighborhood. Most of our days are spent checking treads and talking to drivers. We have been in this same spot for years and don't plan on moving. It's home for Tyre Of India.
