Triveni Digital Colour Lab

We are right on Dasarahalli Main Road in Vijayanagar. If you’re looking for us, we’re near that Raheja Park SBI ATM. Triveni Digital Colour Lab has been here through all the changes in photography. It used to be all about film, and now everything is digital, so we’ve had to change our machines a few times. The shop is small and can get pretty cramped when there are more than three customers inside. We do a lot of passport photos and prints for families. Sometimes people come in with old photos that are falling apart, and we try to see what we can do. It’s a lot of sitting behind the counter and waiting for the printer to finish. We’ve seen kids grow up in this neighborhood, coming in for school photos year after year. The noise from the main road is constant. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big marketing plan. We just open the shutters in the morning and start working. Sometimes the chemicals for the old style stuff smelled, but now it’s mostly just the heat from the printers. We try to be helpful, but we’re just regular people. If the power goes out, the machines stop, and we just have to wait. It’s how it is. We’ve been a part of Vijayanagar for a long time and we just keep at it every day. It is not always easy, but it is what we know how to do.
