Trainee

You can find our business, Trainee, out in the Bidar district of Karnataka. We are located in a village area called Kangankot, which falls under the Mandaknalli post. Shivakumar, who is Ganapati Metre’s son, is the one in charge of everything here. It is a very quiet place compared to the big cities like Bangalore. We are surrounded by fields and open spaces. Our office is just a part of the house really. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything like that. People in the village know where we are if they need us. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. It’s a very simple setup. We wake up early when the air is still cool and get to work. The mail comes through Mandaknalli, and sometimes it takes a while to reach us out here in Kangankot. We don't have high-speed internet or fancy computers. We just use what we have to get the job done. This is a family-run thing, and we’ve been here for generations. We don't have a mission or a fancy vision for the future. We just want to keep working and living a quiet life. The work we do is practical and straightforward. We don’t like to overcomplicate things. If you come to visit, you’ll probably find us sitting on the porch during our lunch break. We don't have many neighbors.
