Toolscarte

Toolscarte is based in the Suraj Ganga Arcade, specifically in unit S-203 on the second floor. We are right in the heart of Jayanagar 2nd Block, which is always busy. The 14th Cross Main road gets packed with cars and shoppers, so getting to the office in the morning can take a bit of time. We keep a lot of our inventory here, so the shelves are pretty much overflowing with different types of tools and hardware. It’s a small space, but we’ve managed to organize it so we know where everything is, mostly. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking orders or on the phone with suppliers. Since we are on the second floor, we don’t get as many random walk-ins as the ground floor shops, but we still see plenty of regular faces. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks, computers, and a lot of cardboard boxes. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which isn't fun. We usually grab coffee from the place around the corner when the afternoon slump hits. Dealing with tools is a very literal business. People need a specific wrench or a power drill, and we find it for them. There isn't much more to it than that. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
