Tomi Graphics Arts

Our place is out in Cheemasandra Village, specifically at 5 Cambell Road, just off the Old Madras Road. It is a bit of a drive from the main city center, but we like it here. We do a lot of graphics work, which mostly means sitting in front of a screen for hours until our eyes get tired. We handle things like printing signs, making banners, and designing small cards for local events. The office is usually cluttered with scraps of paper, rolls of vinyl, and empty ink cartridges. The printers make a constant humming sound that you eventually stop hearing after a few months. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around to download a file, which can be frustrating when someone is waiting for their order. Cheemasandra is a quieter place than the main city, but Old Madras Road is always humming with trucks going past our door. We have a couple of old desks and chairs that have seen better days. Customers usually come in with a rough idea written on a piece of paper, and we try to turn it into something that looks okay on a poster. It is not high art, just practical stuff that people need for their businesses or parties. We stay open late if there is a big job to finish. It is just hard work and a lot of clicking on a mouse for most of the day until the lights go out.
