Thirumala Transports

At Thirumala Transports, things are usually moving pretty fast. Our main spot is at Resume Surendra Kumar No-215, Singsandra, right on the Hosur Road in Bangalore. If you know that road, you know how much traffic there is with all the trucks and cars going towards Karnataka and beyond. We handle the transport side of things every day. It’s a dusty job sometimes, being so close to the main road. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where drivers are and when things will arrive. There is always someone coming in or out of the office with a delivery note or a question about a route. Bangalore is a big city and Hosur Road is like the backbone of it for transport. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a practical place with a few chairs and a lot of keys hanging on the wall. We try to keep the vehicles moving and the schedules tight, even when the traffic is at a standstill outside. It’s hard work and the days can be long, often starting before the sun is even up. We just focus on getting the goods from one place to another. It’s not a glamorous business, but it's what we do and we’ve been at it for a while now. There are always engines running and people shouting to be heard over the noise of the traffic, but we manage to keep everything organized somehow.
