Thirteenth Degree North Architects

We've been here on Lazar Cross Road in Frazer Town for a while now. The office is pretty easy to find if you know the neighborhood, just a regular spot where we get our work done. Thirteenth Degree North Architects isn't some big fancy firm with a lobby full of trophies or anything like that. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, sketching things out and looking at site plans all day. The traffic outside on the road can get a bit loud during the afternoons, but we've gotten used to it. Most people who come by are just folks from around the area looking to fix up their house or maybe build something new on a small plot they bought. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors or trying to figure out why a measurement doesn't look right on the screen. It’s a lot of practical stuff, really. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up, so we end up going down the street for a quick break. We don't have a giant staff, so when you call, you're usually talking to one of the people actually drawing your stairs or figuring out where the windows go. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on the drawings and making sure things stand up straight. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real place, not some sterile office park. It is a bit cramped inside with all the paper, but we manage.
